Pretty sure this is false. The trigger is offering a Pale Tongue to Rosaria, then talking to Leonhard and killing Aldrich. On my most recent playthrough I did the Leonhard questline after finishing all bosses and I'm 100% sure I got the Black Eye Orb before even riding up the elevator to Gwynevere's room.
Hmm. I can confirm that killing Aldrich is not a trigger (any boss works, like any other quest), and neither is reaching Gwynevere's former chamber.
Removed that phrase.
